Mayoritas liga di dunia memiliki 'Play-Off Promosi' untuk menentukan siapa yang mendapat promosi ke tingkat berikut piramida liga. Play-off bisa jadi satu pertandingan atau beberapa pertandingan dimainkan setelah musim kompetisi berakhir dengan tujuan siapa yang memenangkan promosi bersama klub-klub yang telah mengamankan promosi otomatis

For Dunia Permainan Standar (excluding dunia pertandingan buatan as there is an option within ‘Advanced Rules’ of whether to include them or not) this means that the teams finishing in the play off places will contest the ‘Promotion Play-Offs’.

The semi-finals will be a one off match, with 6th playing 3rd and 5th playing 4th for example, and the home team being the higher placed team. The Final will be played at a neutral stadium and again would be a one off match, with the winner securing promotion to the next tier of the league pyramid.
